Central Ky Storm Shelters was founded in 2021 after a deadly and devastating tornado came through Western Kentucky. While this tornado affected hundreds of people and families, it also affected ours. We founded this company to ensure that no family, or person, will be left without tornado storm shelters again.

Our above ground storm shelters are extremely popular for many reasons. Not only are they versatile and easy to get in and out of but are also less expensive than underground shelters. Most customers put their tornado storm shelters in their garage; however, they can be installed anywhere there is concrete. A patio, carport, out bldg. or barn, just to name a few. Our tornado shelters are anchored down and can not be moved unless the bolts are cut out by an installer or technician.

Our tornado storm shelters are extremely durable and well built. The 6'x4'x78" Extreme is by far the most popular, it fits 6 to 8 people, is made with 1/4" thick steel, has a built in bench that doubles as a place to put your emergency supplies, it has 2 ventilation vents where as the one located in the front of the shelter can be used a

The 6'x4'x78" Extreme is by far the most popular, it fits 6 to 8 people, is made with 1/4" thick steel, has a built in bench that doubles as a place to put your emergency supplies, it has 2 ventilation vents where as the one located in the front of the shelter can be used as a safety hatch and be easily removed with the attached wing nuts. The Extreme also doubles as safe room and can be locked from the inside. It is also bullet proof! Another great use for our shelters is to store guns, jewelry, etc.. inside while on vacation to protect your valuables.
